After settling into Namche Bazaar, the team climbed up to the Everest View Hotel at 3800 metres. We had tea on the balcony, but unfortunately the weather closed in and we had no views of Everest. We trekked down to Khumjung and visited the monastery. While the monks were chanting, we were invited to view the scalp of the famous Yeti. We then visited the famous school built by Sir Edmund Hillary. Our main guide, whose name is Hupendra Rai, attended this school 22 years ago and it was an amazing experience to be there with him. It started snowing as we made our way back to Namche Bazaar to do some last-minute shopping. Everyone is doing extremely well and having lots of fun.
